OUR VISION
The Boathouse was created to share something words couldn’t quite express: the grounding, restorative beauty of San Juan Island.
This island is more than our home. It’s a place where time slows, the air smells of sea salt and wildflowers, and the quiet brings you back to yourself. It’s where we’ve found space to breathe, reset, and reconnect with what matters most.
We aim to create fragrances to capture that feeling. Each scent is a reflection of the island’s stillness and magic, rooted in nature, island memories, and the ritual of slowing down and letting go.
MEET THE ARTISANS
We’re Lydia and Biz, two sisters handcrafting fine fragrances in our island studio on San Juan Island, Washington.
What began as a shared love for scent and ritual has become something much deeper. For us, fragrance is a way to share the calm, clarity, and quiet beauty of island life. Each blend is made in small batches, with intention, and a whole lot of sisterly laughter.
